Like most people, we were impressed when VR headsets first hit the market and we’re excited about what they had to offer marketers. But devices like Oculus are pricey, bulky, require 10 minutes of set up, and were developed with consumers in mind, not brands. DIY options like Google Cardboard require users to download an app,assemble the headset and depend on them having a compatible smartphone.

These devices were leaving the experience up to the user. We knew the people we were trying to reach weren’t going to go through these steps.

So we took a hard look at those VR headsets that were disrupting the future of marketing, and we made them better. We made them our own. We created UR®, the first sendable and brandable VR headset.

A study by Nielsen and YuMe found that VR keeps users engaged for 34% longer than 2D video – but only if you can capture their attention in the first place.
